FALL ACTIVITIES
The new school year has barely kicked, off and already things have been quite busy at the Prague British School (PBS). Kathleen Weyers, the school’s head, was presented with a cake at the “welcome picnic” in September. Meanwhile PBS raised 10,000 Kč for the Klokanek charity during the school’s annual Autumn Bazaar. And, of course, students have been out and about. Student teams recently went on a hike between Beroun and Karlštejn, which is part of the school’s Duke of Edinburgh award scheme. And, Oct. 23, PBS won the 2008 Prague international schools football tournament.
