Former Prague Post General Manager Eva Anderová has been appointed director of European Union affairs and international relations at the Finance Ministry.

She previously led the finance minister’s protocol. She led The Prague Post from 2004 to 2006 and was commercial director for Sanoma Magazines Praha from 2001 to 2003. She has served on the Czech Union of Publishers’ executive board and, since 2003, worked as a media consultant, overseeing Time In’s launch. She has been supply-chain director for Delvita, sales director for Boehringer Ingelheim and sales and marketing manager for DHL Worldwide Express in Bratislava.
A Slovak, she has degrees from the Slovak Academy of Sciences and the Economics University in Bratislava.
Pavel Kalášek has taken the job of adviser to Jan Červinka, CEO of Czech-Canadian consulting and software company Adastra Corporation. He’ll focus on strategic management.
He headed LogicaCMG’s regional management from 2005 to 2006 and was Hewlett-Packard Czech Republic’s general manager from 1995 to 2004.
He was twice named Czech IT Personality of the Year. He studied theoretical cybernetics at Charles University and received a Ph.D. from the Institute of Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. He gained managerial skills at IMD in Switzerland and Wharton in the United States and elsewhere.
Executive search company Korn Ferry International Prague has appointed Philipp Roden research associate. He previously was an external consultant at 3M Prague and the Finance Ministry, where he studied banking fees.  
He studied law at the University of Freiburg in Germany and the University of Hamburg and has an MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology. While studying, he was a consultant in the Czech marketing and banking sectors at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Raiffeisenbank. He has Czech and German citizenship.
Shipping company DPD’s general director, Daniel Mareš, has been promoted to regional director for Central and Eastern Europe. He’ll oversee DPD in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. He has worked at DPD since 2002 and had been Czech general director since 2004.
